PUBLIC BETA · RELEASE 0.8

OGS Tracker is an independent, read-only public beta maintained by Evan Grey. This notice describes the current product, not features that may be added later.

01

What this beta collects

The OGS Tracker application does not currently provide public accounts, contribution forms, payments, advertising, or first-party analytics. It does not intentionally set first-party tracking cookies.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may receive technical request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and time of access. The production site is hosted by Netlify; its handling of information is described in the Netlify Privacy Statement ↗.

02

Information you choose to send

If you contact the maintainer outside the site about a correction, source, privacy request, or collaboration, the message may include your name, contact details, organization, and the evidence you provide. That information is used to respond, evaluate the request, preserve an editorial audit trail, and protect the integrity of the registry.

Do not submit confidential, export-controlled, operationally sensitive, or personal information that should not become part of a documented research record.

03

Sharing and sale

OGS Tracker does not sell reader data, run targeted advertising, or sell favorable placement in the registry. Information may be handled by infrastructure providers that operate the site, disclosed when legally required, or published when you knowingly provide source material for an attributed correction and agree that it can be used.

04

Retention and choices

Hosting and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings and policies. Direct correspondence and editorial evidence may be retained while needed to resolve a request, document a source, maintain release history, or meet legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you sent directly; public facts and properly sourced registry history may remain when needed for the integrity of the record.

05

External sources and children

Record pages link to operator sites, papers, government documents, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are their own. OGS Tracker is an industry research resource, is not directed to children, and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

06

Questions or requests

Until a dedicated privacy address is published, contact the maintainer through the established Evan Grey LinkedIn profile ↗. Please begin the message with “OGS Tracker privacy.” This policy will be updated before public accounts, analytics, or on-site submissions are enabled.
